Background

I am an Assistant Professor in English at Birbhum Mahavidyalaya, Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal, where I have been teaching since 2017. Before joining college, I served as an Assistant Teacher (PG) at Nirisha JMK High School, Birbhum — so I have taught English at both school and college level, online and offline, since 2010.

Academically, I hold a First Class BA (Honours) and First Class MA in English from The University of Burdwan, and a B.Ed. from Visva-Bharati.

In the classroom I cover language, literature, grammar, vocabulary, writing, and phonetics. Outside the classroom, I built this site because I noticed that most free English practice resources for competitive exams — SSC CGL, IBPS PO, UPSC, UGC NET — are either outdated, poorly explained, or locked behind paywalls. Everything here is free, and every answer comes with a real explanation, not just a correct-option tick.
